    This page explains how to request the deletion of data that ControlShift has collected through your use of our Facebook integration.

    When you connect your Facebook account to ControlShift, we may collect:

    • Your Facebook profile picture
    • Your Facebook user ID
    • Other information you explicitly grant us access to

    How to Request Data Deletion

    Method 1: Via Facebook

    1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy
    2. Click on "Settings"
    3. Navigate to "Apps and Websites"
    4. Find "ControlShift" or our app name
    5. Click "Remove" to revoke access and delete associated data

    Method 2: Direct Request to ControlShift

    You can request data deletion by contacting us directly:

    Subject: "Data Deletion Request"

    Please include your Facebook account email or user ID in your request to help us identify your data.

    Processing Timeline

    Once we receive your data deletion request, we will:

    • Acknowledge your request within 2 business days
    • Complete the deletion process within 30 days
    • Send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete

    Note: Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We will inform you of any such exceptions.

    What Happens After Deletion

    After your data is deleted:

    • You will no longer be able to use Facebook Login with ControlShift
    • Any preferences or settings associated with your Facebook account will be removed
    • We will permanently delete all personal data collected via Facebook (except where legally required to retain)
    • Your Facebook account connection will be completely severed

    If you wish to use our services again in the future, you will need to reconnect your Facebook account and start fresh.
